Limone Piemonte (1,100 m AMSL) is one of the oldest Italian ski resorts and it is at one-hour drive from Bordighera. Its over 80 km of slopes make it an excellent destination for a day out , and its position allows you to be back for a dinner by the sea.
France is just round the corner, Menton, Monte Carlo, Nice, Saint-Paul-de-Vence and many other costal cities and medieval settlings are all wonderful destinations for a day trip surrounded by the colourful, fragrant atmospheres of Cote d’Azur, or for a special night out.
You can drive to Genoa in about 1h30’ and discover more about its artistic and architectural heritage: Palazzi dei Rolli, Carlo Felice theatre, the biggest European aquarium, its famous lighthouse (Lanterna) and many wonderful churches and museums.
